With DAMASK we reached a technical and aesthetical limit in the number of different foils that can be used.

It was time for a more sophisticated challenge:

To go back to the basics and using just one foil -and a lot of imagination- to create a deck of spectacular luxury, an absolute must for every serious collector!

The result was "SILK" playing cards.

The play of light on a background made of incredibly thin lines that imitate the weaving in renaissance silk fabrics, creates an amazing 3D effect that no photo can capture.

Thanks to our workshop and expert plate makers, we're able to produce a deck with such a detail that will take your breath away!

The first “Redemption Story” Vol. I is the Red version of the Royal Silk deck, which was meant to be part of the first year’s Patreon. We decided to include in this month's Redemption Stories the 180 decks that were printed with the first Royal Silk print run and were intended as gifts for the first year's Patrons. These decks are printed in Gold and Silver foil instead of two gold foils that are in the other Redemption Story Vol. I - Light Grey tuck version.

The casino-quality cards are inspired by a vintage western aesthetic, and all the illustrations are drawn with individual lines, giving them a modern feel, connecting the past to the present.

I have already identified our printing company WJPC to produce the cards on high-quality 310gsm German black core card-stock (2.5" x 3"). The cards will be butter finish, which is a major finish for magic playing cards and cardistry playing cards. The tuck box will be a silk matte lamination with silver foil included.
