This deck, inspired by the renowned New Orleans Voo-Doo Queen Marie Laveau, integrates her mystical practices into its design. Featuring voodoo, divination, chiromancy, and more, it's a blend of the arcane and the mystical.

Created for New Orleans Playing Cards, this deck is sold at their physical shop in 521 Dumaine St, New Orleans, LA 70116, United States. For this variant of Madame Laveau, the tuck box is matte black with teal foil, and it comes with custom seal depicting the address of the the store. The 3D lenticular lens shows the name of the store. The card back design is colored black, with the edges are gilded with teal foil. All the artworks on the cards remain the same as the original, except for the artwork card that shows the illustration of the store's entrance.

Specially made for S17 Patreon, the deck's seal is swapped with S17's sigil long custom seal, hand signed as well.

I had in mind a new odd fellow and finally I found some inspiration and started to sketch some odd court cards based on a concept.

The way I am distributing characteristics of the characters is displayed in the black table. Long story short: I picked the number of court cards (12) and I am matching them with the 12 houses of the zodiac, the 12 months, and 12 major arcana associated to that month (like my Keymaster Tarot Calendar). Suits are associated to seasons, and this will affect the color palette difference between red and black cards.

Who is Madame Laveau? find Marie Laveau on wikipedia. I did not take everything from the original character, just the last name and the mystic aspect.

The JAKKO mini deck features pearlescent orange stock with black and white foiling. A skeletal embossing is applied across the face of the tuck. 17 marks scratch across the top signifying the date of the launch and the number of Stockholm17. On the face of the deck is a Jack-o-lantern featuring a 5 of Spades reveal and spider iconography in the four corners.

The custom illustrated court cards feature a wildly intoxicated bunch with custom illustrations for each individual pip. The back designs are also 100% custom to each deck in the Odd Fellows series while still maintaining a cohesive design to maintain integrity throughout. This special deck was unlocked on Halloween of the Kickstarter campaign and is mini deck in size.
