Two versions, across three different printings. Printing #1 did not have the aged, worn look that the current edition does. People carried these decks in their pockets, and eventually they would wear down and develop a really cool aged look. V2 emulated that look. V2 had 2 printings. The III indicates the 3rd printing, which is a V2 printing. II and III are essentially identical other than that small change which indicates the printing.

The tuck box features sculptural embossing in both bronze and pewter foil. The cards themselves feature a plethora of masonic imagery, a Liberty Tree ace of spades, and a tax stamp seal. The latest edition of the Les Méliés series of playing cards by Derek Mckee and Michael Blau pays tribute to the iconic film A Trip to The Moon directed by the French filmographer and magician George Méliés.

While the deck features the same intricately designed back, the Les Méliés Eclipse edition includes an updated tuck box along with several hidden features that will enable you to captivate your audience and push the boundaries of their imaginations. 

There are a few differences between the test print from 2015 and the official version from 2016.

The "110" on the tuck case have different fonts.

2015 has a blank gaff card while 2016 has the 52-on-1 card.

The year printed on the Ace of Spades are different.

The tuck has a modified face design containing stylized 'SM' instead of the original piece of art. Only first edition box set decks (pictured here) come with the custom seal. Further reprints are without seal. Court cards are not the original Smoke&Mirrors courts but standard USPCC court cards. Cards are printed on a cream stock similar to the Vintage Plaid decks also by D&D.
