The Sisterhood of Blood Vol. II is a custom designed deck of poker sized playing cards that was printed by The Expert Playing Card Company (EPCC) and funded on Kickstarter. Volume two continues with the theme of London vampires from the Victorian era, and features an all female cast of court cards. 1900 Jeu des Cartes is printed twice, first in 1979 and again in 1980, both times in two colors of Red and Gold. The difference between the print years is on the indexes of the court cards, the 1979 version have the French indexes (V=J, D=Q, R=K) where as the 1980 version have the "standard" indexes. The court cards on 1900 Jeu des Cartes depict famous people of the early 1900's whose work had an influence on Art Nouveau.

Gemini is a deck of completely custom illustrated poker size playing cards. The deck will be printed by Expert Playing Card Co. (NY, USA) on casino grade paper stock with their Classic Finish coating. While the campaign is run from here in Stockholm and is in Swedish crowns (SEK), the rewards will be fulfilled from the US.The choice of the name Gemini is based on the peculiarity of the court cards (JQK). At first glance the figures of each card look perfectly symmetrical, but they are not. I depicted them as twins (Gemini in latin) but they are not identical, so you will see small differences when you look closely. I thought that the Gemini zodiac sign would fit this idea, so it gets a bit astrological in its design. The archetype of Gemini is fascinating and intriguing.

With this deck, I wanted a classical, medieval feeling. The aces are depicted as axes and the figures on the court cards interact with their own pip, which becomes part of the illustration. The pips (2 to 10) are big and they take a lot of space. I used an unconventional index, which is horizontal instead of vertical. I used a prototype for testing and found that it is very playable and easy to read, especially for Burraco.

The Sisterhood of Blood is a custom designed deck of poker sized playing cards, printed by The Expert Playing Card Company (EPCC). The theme of this deck is based on London vampires from the Victorian era. As with my previous project, The Coven, this deck also features an all female cast of court cards. Each of them have a different story to tell, but together they become The Sisterhood of Blood. Features of the deck include: 12 custom all female court cards All of the vampires are named and all have backstories 4 custom designed Aces 2 facing Jokers with the Raven created out of blood 1 double backer Custom Tuck-box with printing on the inside Custom seal (to be voted for by the backers) Printed by EPCC on their classic finish stock (same as The Coven) The Faces: Each of the vampires have names and backstories that help to bring these beautiful monsters alive. Along side this, each of the groups follow a theme, the Jacks have just fed, the Queens revel in their malice and the Kings immortality is coming to a close. The Aces are all larger and custom designed. The tweaked pips follow a standard position but are slightly smaller and the layout is condensed compared to a standard deck of cards. Even though this is a custom deck I have tried to maintain all the standard features of a normal deck of cards, as I want this deck to be usable and easy to read. These features also include the hidden ones such as the one eyed Jacks and the suicide King.

The darker companion to our original Oracle decks, Oracle Shadow Edition is an extremely limited run of 666 decks printed by USPCC. The tuck cases feature black foil on black stock, embossing, red foil on the inside, and an easily removable specially designed DoP seal.
