The aesthetic mainstay of Edo Karuta is the ubiquitous Edomoji, Japanese typographic and lettering styles that were invented and vastly popular during the Edo period. They are primarily used for advertising and branding in the various trades that sprung up during the prosperous epoch before the advent of modern Japan. You can still see many traditional Japanese brands using Edomoji in their marketing efforts. Walk by any Japanese restaurants and you will bound to see banners with Edomoji written on them. In Edo Karuta, these typographical elements are superimposed onto each other to make up interesting and visually arresting motifs, the signature style of MILTZ that we saw in his Shibuya Bluffiti project. Having a fond appreciation for cardistry, magic, sleight of hand magic and of playing cards as an incredible form of art, I wanted to introduce to the world what I believe to be the first custom real estate themed deck! One of my priorities when designing was that I wanted to create a deck that while conserving the beautiful style and tradition of the classic deck and court cards, would also introduce something new, exciting and different for people to enjoy!

This deck is dedicated to cardists, magicians, to collectors, to the playing card community of the world, to our real estate clients and to those out there looking for something new and who just now will start to discover just how much beauty can be captured on 52+ small pieces of paper! We are producing with Art of Play and the USPCC to ensure that the cards both feel and handle like a dream and to the highest possible standard of any card on the market!

Elemental Playing Cards are an homage to the simple beauty of the periodic table - and a nod towards the many ways it mirrors a deck of playing cards. Elements from the periodic table can be rearranged to form any substance in the known universe, each with their own unique properties; playing cards can be rearranged and placed in different orders and sequences to create different playing card hands. Both feature symbols and numbers. And both live within an order and structure. Elemental Playing Cards exists to explore these similarities. The Oxygen Deck takes its inspiration from the 8th element on the periodic table as well as magic. The court cards take advantage of the different ways oxygen is used, and the jokers are meant to bridge the gap between science and magic by showcasing a magician performing the famous water tank escape.

The vibrant artwork by Australian husband-and-wife visual artists employs a shared design language that dictates subject matter, positioning, color theory, and perspective. DABS MYLA enhances their works with immersive environments that enhance the sense of whimsy and grandeur contained inside paintings, mixed media, and sculpture. The design philosophy is reflected beautifully on the Collab deck. The deck sports a vibrant tuck box design featuring surreal flower bed. The psychedelic design is also incorporated in the one-way card back along with the iconic ‘f’.

Unfortunately, due to production issues, this deck of cards *do not* come with the outer cloth fabric black tuxedo jacket. It comes in a paper box featuring the white shirt with black tie. Bursting with simple and classic black and white colors and representative symbols of magnetism, the fabulous design of this deck was inspired by the culture of human beings. Sometimes, less is more. Each custom illustrated card features iconic images and items of a gentleman, which refers to modern fashion. A man in a suit with a cigar, meticulous ties and heeled shoes run wild throughout the pack. Every single card in the Gentleman Deck is represented with a unique story, incorporating classical art, as well as works from today's leading illustrators. The Gentleman Deck features 54 unique works of art, and an elaborate back design.

Seekers tells the story of two parallel worlds and the ongoing struggle for victory before our light is extinguished - represented by the torch on the Ace of Spades. Whether you seek adventure, fame, mastery, or love we encourage you to play fair, take risks and bet big for the winning hand is just an ante away. Conceptualized and illustrated by graphic designer Billy French, each card was meticulously drawn with great detail. The court cards are completely custom yet reminiscent of traditional playing card design. We particularly like the juxtaposition of the undead red suits versus the living black suits. The back design features a familiar composition along with the Eye of Providence in the middle of two interlocked rings to symbolize our connection with a greater power. Precisely printed by The United States Playing Card Company with our trademark thin stock, and a premium finish for superior handling. Packaged inside a letterpress-printed tuck case featuring gold metallic ink and white foil.

The Tragic Royalty deck features black and dark red Rider backs with grey borders and faces. They are fluorescent under black light (UV-light). All of the pips have small swirls in the corners, and the court cards have different background colours; one side has a black background with a grey or white pip (grey for normally black pips and white for normally red pips), the other side has a grey background with a black or red pip. All the faces of the court cards are custom, each with a different whimsical and ghoulish face. Comes with 2 Jokers (one of which has a guarantee print) and a custom Ace of Spades.
