My design partners at Deveo Media and I have created a project showcasing Chinese culture. We hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we enjoyed making it!

“Middle Kingdom” was used to refer to civilizations around the Yellow River Valley before the empires leading to modern-day China began to form. The two characters in the ideogram for China, 中国, are part of those for Middle Kingdom, 中央王国, so the reference has stood the test of time. The court cards use exquisitely detailed line art of Chinese deities and people, while the card back is a great freehand drawing with interpretations of Chinese lattice borders and, of course, a dragon.

Rise of a Nation is a 100% custom deck of playing cards being produced by the Barclay Mountain Co. It will be the first deck of the Decoded History Series in which we’ll explore the more interesting pieces of our history while at the same time making a unique experience by creating coded messages that are discreetly hidden within the design.

The first deck will explore the creation of the United States and how Freemasonry played a vital role. The court cards for this deck were carefully chosen to advance the idea that our country was designed with a divine purpose in mind.

The use of esoteric images, special number groupings, bible verse references and masonic coded messages will unlock a series of locations within the Washington DC area that will form a greater picture. It will also provide answers to the true objective of our nation's capital.

The upgrade for this deck to be printed by USPCC was originally meant as a $18,000 stretch goal in that KickStarter project, but it ended up being printed by USPCC even though the KickStarter project only funded at the $7,250 level.  The other part of that stretch goal was a special collectors version which also was made available via BackerKit and also was upgraded to USPCC printing like the Standard version was.

These innocent looking poker size cards are made to perfection and will handle like your favorite deck of playing cards all while cleverly concealing a hidden secret, courtesy of Asi Wind, that can give you complete knowledge of every card in the pack.

Only 500 decks of these will be released at this time, but we think the lucky few who make these their regular deck of cards will have one of the best decks of cards and a built in tool for miracles!

This deck is the last one of Odissea series and talk about the last travel and the death of Ulysses.

“Nec Plus Ultra” was written on the Pillars of Hercules, the limit of the known World. It means “No more further” in latin, and pass them was forbidden to all mortals. Ulysses was crazy enough to challenge Gods, and he was so hungry of knowledge to cross them. The story of Ulysses crossing the Pillars is found in the Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri. In this version of the story, Ulysses dies here, by a huge storm sent by the angry Gods he decided to defy. The Goddess on the tuckbox that represent the Unknown and the Fate. If you followed my other projects, you know I’m in love with the reckless heroes, hungry of knowledge, who does not stay in their place and dare to challenge overwhelming powers.

With Chronos Lotrék set himself the challenge to design and print a deck within just 25 days. The limited run of 220 numbered decks is printed on 2-color pearlescent stock and features gold foil on the back of all cards and a unique tuck case. Melania Damianou has used watercolor and other mixed media techniques to give an aged look to the tucks. As a result, each and every tuck case is different.

Gilded Unnumbered version of this deck. It is unknown as to how many were produced. As these were only released as mystery decks in the December 2019 Manors of Wonder sale, it is likely that less of these were produced than the numbered versions. It is not known if these are prototypes.

An Uusi exclusive commission for Baha Mar Casino, "Junkanoo" is a playing card deck that pays homage to the storied, folk festival of the same name held every year in the Bahama's by the local island residents. Casinos are central to the economy and identity of these Bahama residents whose imaginative reinventions on the playing card theme weave throughout the "Junkanoo" parade. Baha Mar is one of the largest casinos on the island and a thrilled supporter of the artistry that takes center stage in this exuberant, local festival. This First Edition Junkanoo playing card deck was printed as a Limited Edition of 1000 decks for the High-rollers, friends and patrons of the Baha Mar casino. The casino has graciously shared 225 of these special decks with Uusi so we can make them available to our collectors, magicians, flourishers, poker players and all who enjoy the artistry and beauty of rare, custom playing card decks.
