Since 1977, Star Wars has been a pop culture phenomenon. Alongside the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the 9th and final film in the Skywalker saga, theory11 is proud to present Star Wars: Light Side and Dark Side Playing Cards.

Channel your inner Sith, join the First Order, or maintain order in the galaxy alongside Emperor Palpatine’s Imperial Army. The Dark Side deck features Darth Vader’s lightsaber, the Death Star, and the Empire’s fleet of starships. “You don't know the power of the dark side!”

About The Cards

MADE IN AMERICA The cards themselves are made in the USA - printed on FSC-certified paper derived from sustainable forests, vegetable-based inks, and starch-based laminates.

The Dark Side Box

EMBOSSED AND FOIL STAMPED On the front of the dark side box, look through the window of the Imperial Throne Room, with symbols of the Galactic Empire and First Order on each corner.

Both decks feature the same set of 12 court cards, representing each side. On the dark side, Palpatine is depicted alongside Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, and more.

On the King of Spades, Darth Vader is depicted holding his lightsaber while taking command of his Imperial subordinates. “I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

Across the red back design, it's all about the details - from the Death Star to the First Order, Sith, and Empire insignia. In the center, a repeating pattern of TIE fighters supports Darth Vader's lightsaber on either side.

Plaid designs have a rich history in the playing card world, with several patterns and colors being created for over 100 years. Michigan Plaid adds to the tradition with a stylized yellow & navy checkered plaid pattern, complete with a white border.

The deck uses Penguin's in-house standard faces & jokers, along with a custom Ace of Spades. The tuck box has a classically-styled design complete with inner printing for that perfect finishing touch. The package is topped off with an individually-numbered stamp-style seal.

Michigan Plaid playing cards are made using Penguin Magic's signature UltraLux™ Finish and AquaFlow™ Coating. These traditionally-cut cards are printed using vegetable-based inks on casino-grade European card stock. This means the cards shuffle, fan, and spread perfectly for all of your favorite games & tricks.

A new character is joining the Odd Fellows family; Cpt Spindel Webber with his itsy bitsy concoction will make you glow under UV light.

This Odd Fellow features new court cards, new tuckbox, and 219 new tiny illustrations printed with invisible UV sensitive ink, reacting to UV light (works with 365nm wavelength UV light).

The cards are printed by Cartamundi on their B9 Slimline stock, and the tuckbox is printed by Boschiero&Newton with orange fluo foil on a gray paper stock. The foil reacts to any UV light.

Designed by Douglas Fuchs, the Bioluminescent deck has 100% custom artwork featuring sea creatures, insects, fungi, and more. All of the art of the backs, faces, and the tuck box are accented by special UV ink that glows under a blacklight*.

The desire to wield true magical powers is a wish as old as mankind itself. One of the most well-known stories about this fantasy is "Der Zauberlehrling", better known as The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Written by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and originally published in 1797, the story stands the test of time.
