We are Bloom Playing Cards, a creative hub that artfully captures the captivating essence of Japanese culture in our designs. Following the tremendous success of our debut project, 百鬼夜行 Hyakki Yagyō Playing Cards (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons Playing Cards), we are thrilled to present our latest campaign, the 8th project in the renowned Room One Collection, that continues our playful spirits and mysteriousness, The Fox's Wedding Playing Cards.

Legend has it that when foxes gather to celebrate their union, they create an ethereal atmosphere filled with enchantment and magic. The rain serves as a protective veil, shielding the foxes from human interference. It is said that witnessing a fox wedding is a rare and extraordinary sight, as these mystical creatures are elusive and often avoid human contact.

Each suit within the deck represents a distinct season, capturing the essence of nature's transformation throughout the year. The integration of the four seasons not only adds depth and symbolism to the deck but also serves as a reminder of the perpetual cycles of life and nature. It reflects the harmony between the foxes' wedding celebration and the eternal rhythm of the changing seasons, creating a profound connection with the world around us.

Each numbered card is graced with a corresponding number of foxes; for instance, the 3 of Hearts reveals three foxes within its enchanting design, weaving a tapestry of mystery and elegance.

Drawing inspiration from the captivating Japanese myth of "Kitsune no Yomeiri" – the Fox’s Wedding 狐の嫁入り – this deck combines the rich calendar symbolism of playing cards. The 12 court cards symbolize the 12 months of a year, merging time's passage with the mystical allure of the foxes.

Inspired by the mystique of the Fox's Wedding, the "Kitsuneveil" Case is an enchanting addition to the Ghostlight and Sunshower Editions. Black Water Ranch was established in 1909. A peaceful, open expanse - dedicated to hard-earned freedom.

These playing cards were designed as a modern re-imagination of the decks used by the cowboys & ranchers of Black Water.

We can imagine how this deck could become a staple in a their poker game at sun down. The corners stained with ash and soil from the hands of all players.

The Deck:

The tuck box looks like fresh tan leather, branded by deep red inks.

The cards inside are all custom, from the pips to the iconic back design.

Magicians will be happy that each deck comes with 2 jokers, 1 double backer & a duplicate Queen of Spades to help you perform powerful card magic.

The Second Edition of Artifice added a functional border on the back to improve upon the deceptiveness of sleights requiring the alignment of cards, such as a Push Off Double or Elmsley count.

Piracy Playing Cards were produced using a dual-foil printing process - featuring both gold AND gunmetal silver foil on the backs and faces, with extreme detail and precision. The design as a result is absolutely stunning - a lost treasure that’s finally been discovered.

Every aspect of Piracy Playing Cards were designed from scratch, featuring fully custom fonts, suits, Jokers, Court Cards, and Aces dripped in gold and silver foil.
