The most limited deck ever released by Theory11, with less than 1 gross being sold. This deck is not an officially released print run but rather the result of a mistake in printing. During the implementation of metallic gold to the deck the execution of printing was not up to standard and the full run was trashed - with the exception of a gross. This deck should be considered an "error" deck rather than a full public release deck. For six months, we’ve been keeping one secret closely guarded. In collaboration with USPC, we began testing an experimental new process, for the first time applying gold foil DIRECTLY on the back of playing cards.

The cards are then processed with Bicycle’s most durable finish - resulting in a card that spreads, fans, shuffles, and tears just like a normal playing card. Based on research at USPC, they’re 400% more durable and 30% more flexible than any other foil application. Scratch them, twist them, tear them, bend them - the foil doesn’t come off.

In 2011, we released the original Monarchs, featuring gold foil, navy blue paper, and elegant, sleek, minimalistic design. A triumph of form and function, the designed was featured on Luxist, The Die Line, Hollywood motion pictures, and high fashion publications.

Today, we present a new, unlimited edition: Silver Monarchs. Dressed in white, and printed on FSC-certified paper with embossed, silver foil. The Silver Monarchs are fit for a king and as striking as ever.

Monarch Eleven Madison Park Edition playing cards were a single production run with an original tax stamp (jagged) seal and then a replacement smooth seal when the small inventory of tax stamp seals became unavailable at the time. There is only a V1 edition since the tuck box design and playing cards are identical, but rather the small number of jagged tax stamp seals were used first and then the more abundant and available smooth seals were used second when the jagged tax stamp seals were temporarily unavailable . Monarch Eleven Madison Park Edition playing cards were a single-printing limited-edition product not ever sold on theory11.com. These were printed specifically for Eleven Madison Park, a high end restaurant in New York City that was ranked #1 in the world in 2017, and is consistently ranked in the top 10 in the world. This deck is a custom variation based on Silver Monarch playing cards. Eleven Madison Park Edition playing cards were a single production run with an original jagged seal and then a replacement smooth seal when the jagged seal inventory ran out of stock (see picture of T11 VP of Operations Comments).

VHS is the February 2020 Kings Wild Shorts subscription deck. The tuck is side-opening and the backs, when flipped, give the illusion of a VHS tape rewinding.

VHS 1982 is a nostalgic deck that brings back memories of putting electrical tape over your VCR to keep it from blinking all night long and blowing the Nintendo game cartridge out before you start a 4 hour Contra marathon with you big brother.

VHS 1982 is a light-hearted deck that is inspired by the bold designs of the early 80s. The Kings Wild standard court cards get a totally rad upgrade with face-melting holographic foiling on both the front and the back of the cards.

If you are wondering 1982 and February are Jackson's birth year and month!

For an extra level up, the classic VHS cassette back design features a flipbook "Be Kind Rewind" effect.

The Pluto mini deck will be printed by MPC and will include their very cool holographic printing effect on the card fronts. The tuckboxes will be printed by Gamblers Warehouse and will match the other planet LE decks—blue paper boxes with gold and silver holographic foils on the exterior + silver holographic foiling on the interior. They will be sealed with a numbered metallic sticker.

Also, every Pluto deck will include a Carat mini display case, made of 5mm acrylic with a front panel that's held in place with magnets. These mini cases were custom-designed specifically for the Pluto deck!

These decks will be limited but we will produce enough decks to cover orders placed through Kickstarter and BackerKit.
