Designed by Lorenzo Gaggiotti, The House of the Rising Spade is a place built for imagination; an esoteric realm full of mysteries built for cartomancers, cardists, magicians, collectors, dreamers, and card enthusiasts. The tuck box was produced by Oath Playing Cards. The Faro variant gets closer to old poker decks from 1800's. No index at all, one-way design for all the cards. Play cards as they used to do in 1800's with a modern and esoteric touch. The deck was printed by the USPCC. The Faro variant features gold metallic ink on the back design, and a few graphic elements of the faces.

This is the second edition, and even if it looks the same as the first one, some changes have been made to the cards and the tuckbox.

This is a luxurious deck of cards with gold foil application on both sides of all the cards, custom illustrated court cards, 3 jokers and ace of spades surrounded by shiny gold. The cards handle fantastic and the light reflected on the gold foiled areas makes the cards pop and shine.

Hannya Playing Cards features the traditional Japanese Hannya mask, portraying the souls of women who have become demons due to obsession or jealousy -- now immortalized through tattoos.

As a follow-up to the Mandala Playing Cards, Damien O'Brien has used his own Hannya tattoo as inspiration for the Hannya Playing Cards.

Demonic and dangerous but also sorrowful and tormented, the Hannya mask pays tribute to the complexity of human emotions.

When looking straight ahead, the mask appears frightening and angry; when tilted slightly down, the face of the demon appears to be sorrowful, as though crying. In much the same way, the gold foil mask on the Hannya Playing Cards tuck case emerges from the black mat darkness and peers into your soul.

Two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and leering mouth are emblazened with gold foil on each card back. The tools of the trade are highlighted on the Jokers.

The custom drawn court cards pay homage to the creative mischief of magicians including Jeremy Griffith, Daniel Madison, and Damien, himself, on the custom drawn court cards.

The theme in the deck is that of responsible change and transformation. This theme extends Flagrant Agenda's maxim of making a point to making a change. Various symbols related to change and transformation were included in the design of the tuck case, card back and the court cards. We strive to keep the whole design clean and simple without losing the details and symbology. We hope that the deck design would be timeless and spread the message of responsible change and transformation.

Killer Bees are the mutant hybrid of timid European honey bees and their African cousins.  Like all superhero stories, the Killers were introduced to Brazil by mad scientists to help re-populate their diminishing Bee population.  But no-one could contain them... In 1957, 26 swarms escaped quarantine and declared war on the western hemisphere.  Danger lurking in the skies, these villains will stalk their victims for up to 1/2 a mile..  We wanted to capture the darker bodies of these cold-face killers in our deck. Creating a harsh black back with toxic-waste yellow honeycomb spilt on the back.  The black faces display custom pips and hold a sinister simplicity. Like something you'd expect to see on a discarded barrel of methylamine.  Killer Bees are the result of an unsanctioned lab experiment when toxic-waste spilled into a delicate hive of Honey Bees.

The second edition to the Regalia Playing Cards series. From the creative mind of Shin Lim and printed in Belgium by Cartamundi, comes a one of a kind deck which was first introduced last year with an overwhelmingly positive response. The box is made from two protective pearlized white casings, with an inner and outer cellophane wrap. These individually gold foiled cards are sealed to withstand any extreme heat or humidity during shipment. Our priority for the Regalia series has always been quality. Each card has been carefully hot stamped with gold foil and then protected with a true B9 finish, thus to not compromise the feel and fluidity with each shuffle or flourish. Created for the magician in mind, every card in the deck has been designed to look standard(with the exception of the Jokers and Ace of Spades). Subtle changes however has been added to the court and number cards. Such as minor details like the stem of the spade, to the borders of the face cards. Each small alteration gives a sense of elegance everytime you open the deck. Inspired by Russian art and specifically from the paintings on the walls of the historic Hermitage museum, the regalia back design is a perfect balance of complexity and minimalism.
