Ryan Schlutz is back with the second iteration of False Anchors Playing Cards. The brand new nautical back design pays homage to the classic Bicycle style, giving the cards a familiar feeling from the first time you use them. The Ace of Spades and matching Jokers have also been customized, giving the cards an extra touch of class. We’ve left the rest of the faces untouched, matching standard Bicycle faces, so you can make use of the gimmicks you already own. We’ve even included two mis-indexed cards for monte routines along with a double-faced Joker/Ace. The US Playing Card company makes all our decks, right here in the USA. False Anchors Playing Cards is a unique worker deck created by Ryan Schlutz. The design embraces his False Anchors philosophy of hiding in plain sight. The tessellated anchor pattern may look innocent, but it hides some diabolical secrets. In addition to the custom back design, the False Anchors Playing Cards also offers a custom Ace of Spades and matching Jokers that give the cards that extra touch of class. The remaining faces were left untouched to match standard Bicycle faces, allowing you to mix and match with other cards and incorporate the False Anchors Playing Cards into your existing routines. Sherlock Holmes - Baker St 2nd Edition

Kings Wild Project // 2021

Jackson originally designed the Sherlock Holmes deck as one of his first Kickstarter decks in collaboration with the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Estate. The initial Sherlock Holmes decks were Baker Street, Moriarty, Hounds of Baskerville, and the Holmes Edition. Jackson has taken the Holmes Edition and given it an updated design as well as placed it with the newest Sherlock Holmes card illustrations. The few difference between this deck and the most recent Sherlock Holmes deck is the new tuck case design, the use of the original back design, and there is no foil used in the cards. The tuck case has an embossed finish with gold foil. The cards were printed by Mr. Playing Card in the United States and the tuck case was made by Clover St. Press.

What we have observed is a vast plethora of combinations, leading to either quality products or poor ones. We believe that a certain balance needs to be achieved in order to create a great deck of cards.     In collaboration with our artist Pedro Oyarbide, we originally sought to create a deck that was distinctly unique amongst other decks of playing cards on the market. We focused on 100% custom illustration, striking details, incredible, eye-catching packaging and deep connotation evident through symbolic design. The mythology of the Joker and the Thief playing cards expands with the addition of Street Edition. The all new bold, black and grey colour-way bursts forth bringing itself into the light of day. Building upon White Gold Edition and Blood Red Edition’s narratives; Street Edition aims to place itself directly in the hands of contemporary creatives. It looks at home in any urban setting while continuing to portray powerful contrasting themes of life and mortality, lightness and darkness, good and evil. It is most definitely, a conversation starter! The Joker and the Thief emerge from the shadows more stunning, striking and stylish than ever.

    Delirium (Prism)

    Thirdway Industries // 2015

    Funded as a Kickstarter project on December 1, 2014 with $11,686 pledged from 346 backers, this was a 2 deck project consisting of the standard Delirium (Prism) deck and a Signature Edition, plus uncut format.  Designed by Giovanni Meroni through his Thirdway Industries, this deck features a fun cartoonish look of with intricate and modern style, strongly inspired by the classic french playing cards, but with crazy twists.  The deck was printed by Expert Playing Card Co. using their Master Finish.

    This PCDB Entry is for the Delirium (Prism) deck that came in a tuck that used a special prismatic stock which changes color at every angle.  Per update direct from the artist, 2,000 decks were printed.

    Delirium Absolute

    Thirdway Industries // 2018

    Delirium Absolute, the Collector's Edition of Delirium Ascension has the same cards as Delirium Ascension, but with a different, premium tuck box. The premium tuck box will be made by a new company, and since it's an experiment, it will be extremely limited. I've decided to made only 777 of them and it's designed mainly for Kickstarter backers. Alexandra and the Almighty are two new cards, included in every Ascension and Absolute decks. They're "art cards" that can be used as Jokers. Read the "lore" section to know more about them.

    Delirium Ascension

    Thirdway Industries // 2018

    Delirium Ascension was the mystery deck of the 2014 KS campaign and was not revealed until now. Ascension has a lot of metallic inks, both on the cards and the tuck box. The dark blue, light blue and different shades of gold are all metallic. I've already used USPCC metallic inks in my Eva deck and they turned out awesome.     Delirium Insomnia

    Thirdway Industries // 2018

    A revised version of the original draft images shown in 2014 was completed in 2017 with a new color scheme (violet and yellow), which is different from the original draft (violet, green and yellow). There is also a completely new back. The Insomnia Cards have an angry expression. They live in a dark realm where they can't sleep. The Betrayed King is even angrier in the Insomnia Deck. The Club characters were the "good ones" in Delirium Prism - The "Sad Princess" and the "Kind Monarch" are not that nice in Insomnia. Delirium Pips are fully custom and sometimes design elements, like blood drops, can be found on the cards.
