First print run of v2 edition has "II" on the tuck flap. Quote from Director of Operations at Theory11, Lyle Borders: Two versions, across three different printings. Printing #1 did not have the aged, worn look that the current edition does. People carried these decks in their pockets, and eventually they would wear down and develop a really cool aged look. V2 emulated that look. V2 had 2 printings. The III indicates the 3rd printing, which is a V2 printing. II and III are essentially identical other than that small change which indicates the printing. The Gold Certificate deck is the second deck released in the Federal 52 series. Inspired by US Gold Certificate Bank notes of the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Gold Certificate deck features new, hand-drawn renditions of the presidents and other key figures found on US currency.

The Rider-Waite Tarot is a classic Tarot deck, perhaps the most well-known in the Western world. It is often called the first modern Tarot deck, as the cards drawn by Pamela Colman-Smith and commissioned by Waite were the first to use detailed pictures on the minor arcana cards.

The tuck box features sculptural embossing in both bronze and pewter foil. The cards themselves feature a plethora of masonic imagery, a Liberty Tree ace of spades, and a tax stamp seal. A handful of the Son's most patriotic members are represented on the court cards in 18th century style etching. Furthermore, the stock itself has undergone the unique crushing procedure, propietary to Art of Play.

The Second Edition of Artifice added a functional border on the back to improve upon the deceptiveness of sleights requiring the alignment of cards, such as a Push Off Double or Elmsley count.

The Moriarty Edition features a simple but elegant tuck case, that features intricate embossing and silver foiling. The Moriarty Edition courts cards are a whimsical stylized rendition of the characters of the Conan Doyle world that still have an element of the traditional court cards we are all accustomed to. The courts designs are the same as the Holmes Edition but with a cold desaturated feel, with elements of grunge and decay, to pay homage to evil villain the take their name sake from. The Moriarty Edition also features Metallic Silver Ink in the place of metallic red.

There are two name banners that have the wrong names (JoH and QoS), the Ace of Spades font is slightly different from the rest and on the King of Clubs and Hearts there is a "K" in one corner and a "J" in the other

This deck came in both a white pip version and a red pip version. The red pip version was manufactured with both the Air Cushion and the UV-500 (aka UV500) Airflow finish. This P52 entry is for the Air Cushion version.
