This deck is nothing more than a fun idea a customer had one night on YouTube Live. We had 300 extra 20/20 decks with no tucks and instead of throwing them away or just sitting on our shelves. We slapped a cheap sticker on them and put them in one of our new super sweet KW DS1 cases, and BOOM! enter 20/20 Worst Year Ever deck.

Designed by the co-creators of the internationally acclaimed "The Memory Arts" series, Sarah Trustman and David Trustman, the Bicycle Memoria Deck pays homage to the grand history of the Mnemonic Arts (Memory Arts), a tradition that has served the magic community for centuries.

The intricate, yet classic design is sure to appeal to all audiences: the professional magician, card mechanic, cardist, mnemonist, collector, every-day game player... basically any card aficionado looking for a deck that is fresh and different without losing the classic look and feel of a deck of Bikes!

The back design features geometric memory devices from master mnemonists, Gregor von Feinaigle and Giordano Bruno, playfully highlighted by characters found in the Memory Arts System. While classic and simple enough for all uses, and certainly a historical throwback collectors' item, the Bicycle Memoria Deck is much more than it appears at first glance.

The North Star Design almost imperceptibly makes the Memoria Deck one-way. The smaller Feinaiglian grids and Lullian Wheels in all four corners allow users to apply a subtle marking system with a plethora of variations and uses, dependent upon needs and preferences. (The cards are not marked - you can use the grids to either mark values and suits, or card locations if you are using a stack system.)

Users of the Memory Arts System for mem-deck work will enjoy the benefits of using the larger center grid to quickly create stack flashcards. (If you are not familiar with the Memory Arts System, an included info card explains the grid layout so that you can use the deck for flashcards for any stack memorized with any system, even by rote!)

The classic court cards feature an updated color palette, further complementing the cohesiveness of the deck. Custom Jokers (one color, one black & white) are represented by a playful acrobatic memory elephant, also featured in the Memoria Deck's unique Ace of Spades.

The cards are enclosed in a custom yet classic Bicycle-branded tuck box with a custom seal. The back of the box has the card back design at actual size.

Introducing a precisely digitally hand-recreated reproduction of the first published complete transformation playing card deck in the world! The blue "Joan of Arc" deck is the first in a series of six famous decks we plan to release.

The very first transformation deck issued by Cotta is from 1805. This deck is probably the most famous of all six, and is incredibly scarce. Original illustrations were fiddling artworks done by hand, on copper plates that were manually engraved with stipple and etching, and the cards were printed on linen period stock that was 97 mm x 69 mm in size, with blank card backs and squared corners at that time. Only the court cards were hand-colored, while the number cards used red stencils.

Cotta’s transformation cards were very successful and became a role model for later transformation decks from other publishers. And since the card backs were blank, individual cards were sometimes used by the nobility as visit cards and for leaving messages, so these playing cards often became multi-purpose items.

The images on the court cards are characters inspired by Schiller's play "Die Jungfrau von Orleans" ("Joan of Arc").

The central figure of Joan of Arc is depicted as the Queen of Spades, the Maid of Orleans who inspired the French army to victory, but was later burned at the stake.

The court cards were designated with the words "Valet", "Dame", and "Roi", which are the French terms corresponding to the Jack, Queen, and King.

In the first deck, beside Joan of Arc depicted as the Queen of Spades, other individuals closely associated with Joan include Etienne de Vignolles or La Hire (Jack of Hearts), who helped Joan to victory in the battle of Patay in 1429; and Raymond (Jack of Diamonds), a peasant who was Joan's page.

Key political leaders who figured prominently in the events surrounding Joan's life are also represented, including King Charles VII (King of Hearts), the French monarch who relied on Joan's help to reach the Rhiems, the traditional place of coronation; Charles' mother Isabeau (Queen of Hearts), who was in league with Charles' enemy; Charles' mistress Agnes Sorel (Queen of Diamonds); Charles' opponent Philippe the Good (King of Diamonds), an ally of England; and the king of Naples, René d'Anjou (King of Clubs), who lost the kingdom after defeat in battle. General Talbot (King of Spades) was the English commander of the outpost of Orleans at Saint Loup, who was wounded in battle, captured, and was part of a prisoner exchange.

Both Joan's "sister" Louison (Queen of Clubs) and Montgomery (Jack of Clubs) are fictional creations of Schiller, while the fictional Lionel (Jack of Spades) is the character who holds up Joan's sword in a location revealed by the voices that she supposedly heard telling her to help.

The France Deck is part of the World Tour Set series of playing cards.

The box is the main feature of this deck, with silver foil and a classic art deco design. The cards have a simple floral pattern that is neither flashy nor boring, but would blend in the sort of turn-of-the-century cafe magicians and card players would patronize during the period.

The World Tour Deck Set is a presentation "trunk" of five bespoke packs of playing cards, each highlighting a different country and culture from the turn of the last century. The World Tour Deck Set is housed in a miniature travel trunk, replete with decals from the far-off places to which the cards have traveled, to be in your collection.

The set comes with all five decks of cards in the series, and when all five decks are lined up, they create a map of the world highlighting the five featured countries: France, Switzerland, Mongolia, China, and Egypt.

The Egypt Deck is part of the World Tour Set series of playing cards.

This back design is understated and two-color, with appearances by camels and the great pyramids. It is quite similar to card designs one would see on caravan rides that transported the earliest Egyptologists from Cairo to the Valley of the Kings.
