I had in mind a new odd fellow and finally I found some inspiration and started to sketch some odd court cards based on a concept.

The way I am distributing characteristics of the characters is displayed in the black table. Long story short: I picked the number of court cards (12) and I am matching them with the 12 houses of the zodiac, the 12 months, and 12 major arcana associated to that month (like my Keymaster Tarot Calendar). Suits are associated to seasons, and this will affect the color palette difference between red and black cards.

Who is Madame Laveau? find Marie Laveau on wikipedia. I did not take everything from the original character, just the last name and the mystic aspect.

Solitaire17 LTD700 Red deck was released as part of Stockholm's 2023 Patron awards. This deck was based off of two name brand decks he designed for his Solitaire17 game app released for Android & Apple phones.

The paper for these decks is a little different as Lorenzo wanted to test it for a real deck. It is white core art paper with the playing card texture, and the same butter finish as the other ones. Usually he orders the German Black Core paper with butter finish (Quartermaster, 17th kingdom, and others). As replica of the Solitaire17 app decks they turned out great and the foil application is very defined.

17th Kingdom Dark Knight is 3rd edition of the 17th Kingdom deck series. This is one of the 2023 Stockholm17 Patron gifts, with 700 signed decks produced.
