Inspired by 1980's pop culture the Checkerboard Playing Cards were released on the 16th of June 2017 as the debut offering from Anyone Worldwide. The limited edition batch of 2809 decks sold out within 2 hours. The deck was priced at an above average $18 while now averaging $90 to $110 in the resale market. The deck features a chequered pattern back with a single distinct red square. The courts are standard but updated to include the chequered pattern into some of the dressing elements. Also, the same chequered pattern can be found on the pip cards and the Ace of Spades.
