The rare UNBROKEN series was launched by Seasons Playing Cards in a unique mystery deck sale. This was an experimental launch based around the premise that each deck would be unique in its own way. Only 250 “experiments” were produced in this extremely labor intensive project. Each piece is signified by a holographic seal featuring the Seasons logo featuring an ‘X’ indicating the eXperimental series along with a ‘1 of 1’.

This deck is printed with a unique soft non-gloss finish showcasing the design below along with a shimmering gold foil that showcases the cracks and repairs of the deck. The cards inside feature an animated blooming back design that when flipped will show the logo flowering and closing with the different seasons. The deck gilding is made to match the tuck. The two piece Jokers showcase a piece of the card falling off with the repair paint revealing a ‘J’ to complete the Joker titling. The AoS follows similar in suit with a “broken” face revealing the spade shape with a custom pattern to match the back design and the ‘Experimental Series’ tag below.

My newest project is a 3 Deck Set that includes a new version of my popular Dragon-inspired design (the Draconians), and a pair of all new designs - the Knights Decks. ALL Decks, AND the 3-Deck Case for the Kickstarter-Exclusive GILDED Set, will be printed by Legends Playing Card Co., with their TAIWAN PRINTER (and with their Classic Finish). I've always been a fan of Fantasy literature. Some of my favorite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin and Raymond E. Feist. The original Draconians were a nod to the captivating Dragons in their stories. I think of the Knights Decks as spinoff designs of the Draconians. They're the brave Knights that risk life and limb to protect their lands from the dangerous Dragons! The Draconian Wildfire Deck exudes the energy of an intense green fire. The Tuck Box will be printed on a premium soft-touch smooth paper stock. The printing features on the Tuck includes Green FOIL, PANTONE Grey and a UV Spot Ink overlay (and an Embossing Stretch Goal). For a closer look, here's a link to the Draconian Wildfire Tuck flat. The Draconian's Back Card features a Borderless optical illusion design formed from Dragon Scales. The Face Cards feature random fire / crackle fissures of Green over a full-bleed Black background. The fissures are also incorporated into the designs of the PIPs, Courts, Ace heros and Jokers. The Classic Courts are flanked with the Dragon scales spiral-shaped designs. Everything comes together to create a cool look that is also very playable! The new Purple Lone Wolf, with a gradual pink-purple color scheme, creates a beautiful and romantic dreamy feeling. The entire design is very suitable for cardistry performances, especially when the fan is opened, it creates amazing visual effects. Without the barriers of white borders, the whole picture is more beautiful and harmonious.

The Lonely Wolf Playing Card is inspired by the wild beast wolf, conveys a kind of personality and brave temperament for everybody. The white and pink color is as cool and quiet as the wilderness, and the back and face design are specially designed for cardistry performance.

This deck was available only in person at the 2018 Cardistry Con. Limited to 300 copies available only to those who attended. The differentiating feature of this deck is small but significant found on the bottom right hand side of the deck (see gallery). Digitally printed by Cartamundi you can find the term "Cardistry-Con EDITION" of this Pulse deck not found in the standard version available in retail. The deck also features different ad cards stating "CARDISTRY-CON EDITION" in landscape of the card with "(1 of 300)" written below.

The wave design on the deck is a representation of the various rays that travel throughout the universe, such as the light we see, and all the surroundings of the galaxy. The gradient of colors is an embodiment of a celestial vision. They're all pointed 60 degrees to the right, an indication of Sirius B's location relative to Earth. The exterior of the deck is designed in such a manner that you can place three decks in a specific way to display a very cool form. Where you would open the case, you'll find a line of text on the flap: "made on Earth by humans." When this deck is on its way drifting in space, I want the one who gets their hands on this to know whom the proud creators of the deck are!

I have wanted to create a deck based upon this legend for quite a while. One day while talking to my friend and Artist Brad Gabbard or Native Tongue Studio, I ran the idea by him. Over the next several months he designed and redesigned many backs and court card combinations until he was finally able to come up with the perfect combination of both.

We wanted a deck that would appeal to cardists, magicians and collectors. To achieve this goal, we did the following:

The Falcon Throwing Card Series has a hot new version. This deck was designed for everything from poker, magic, card collecting, XCM and card throwing! A special stock was created specifically for Falcons by the United States Playing Card Company, makers of Bicycle ® Playing Cards. This stock despite feeling like a normal playing card, is a hair thicker allowing this deck to be more durable and hit harder than a standard deck of playing cards. This amazing collaboration between two Guinness World Record holders - magician Rick Smith Jr. and playing card legend De'vo is a must for all card lovers! This deck has 3 box options, standard, Gunmetal/red foil and the exclusive Black/Red foil which is limited to just 500 copies!

We wanted this deck to be able to be used for more than just throwing, so we had a special "Thick" cut done from a Premium paper stock. This allows the deck to handle and feel like a normal deck, but have a little more power when thrown. The Falcon Throwing cards deck is only a few cards thicker than a normal deck when set next to each other. Because of slight extra thickness, there are 54 cards in each box. 52 standard cards plus 2 Jokers.

The unique back design has De'vo's signature twin tip mirror back concept, meaning that you will get different fans depending on which way you fan them. The back design is also optimised for card throwing, allowing you to be able to see the card better at greater distances.

All face cards have 3 stars printed below the numbers so you can see how deep your cards go into different objects. The backs also have dots and arrows that help you see/measure how far your card goes into objects.

The Joker contains a built in card reveal that can be used with many different magic tricks. The simplest being a spectator chooses a card, the joker is shown and placed into the deck until the claws are out of sight. The Joker is removed by the spectator and the Falcon is seen to be holding the spectators card. This is a sure fire audience pleaser that is very simple to do!

All of the pips and numbers are 100% custom! The faces feature De'vo's signature faceless court design.
