Minimal, yet intricate. Bold, yet still traditional. This unique project started as a collaboration between card enthusiast, Duane Cardinez, and Pitch, an advertising agency in Los Angeles. Originally intended to be an identity exploration, it manifested into a commemorative passion project, made for devotees of the card community.

Artful by nature. Disruptive by design. This deck delivers cardists, gamblers and card collectors an unmatched experience that respects tradition and rewards the imagination.

Give your poker face something to smile about.

The distinctively black backside gives a sense of mystery to your opponents as the faces are designed with bold & bright elements. Number cards hold more appeal with black or white text set against a vibrant green background. It's like having a plush poker table in the palm of your hands.

Court cards are framed in green, but have a splash of white to set them apart from the number cards, adding some impact to your royal hand. The inner-pips even increase in saturation as you go up the royal hierarchy.

CLUB PITCH offers a cardist-friendly, fanning deck with broken borders on both sides. Springs and dribbles come alive from new viewing angles. Cuts and flourishes with face-card productions have a new look. Most cards offer a splash of color on the back, but this deck will have you exploring new flourishes to show off those fronts.

Magicians will appreciate an experiment to blend a fanning and traditional looking deck. Featuring nearly identical jokers, this deck contains a unique color change opportunity. While these cards are designed to push any illusionist out of their comfort zone, you'll still feel right at home with easy-to-recognize pips and faces.

But the magic doesn't stop there. The unique double backer connects to form a mini-map of Culver City. Line it up just right, and the green glow of Venice Blvd will lead you right to PITCH.

Pitch is happy to announce that the premium, Club Pitch v2.1 Blackjack decks are now available as an add-on for our current backers. Inspired by the original campaign, Blackjacks come in a deluxe matte-black tuck with metallic green foil printing on the outside and inside of the box. My newest project is a 3 Deck Set that includes a new version of my popular Dragon-inspired design (the Draconians), and a pair of all new designs - the Knights Decks. ALL Decks, AND the 3-Deck Case for the Kickstarter-Exclusive GILDED Set, will be printed by Legends Playing Card Co., with their TAIWAN PRINTER (and with their Classic Finish).

I've always been a fan of Fantasy literature. Some of my favorite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin and Raymond E. Feist. The original Draconians were a nod to the captivating Dragons in their stories. I think of the Knights Decks as spinoff designs of the Draconians. They're the brave Knights that risk life and limb to protect their lands from the dangerous Dragons!

The Draconian Wildfire Deck exudes the energy of an intense green fire. The Tuck Box will be printed on a premium soft-touch smooth paper stock. The printing features on the Tuck includes Green FOIL, PANTONE Grey and a UV Spot Ink overlay (and an Embossing Stretch Goal). For a closer look, here's a link to the Draconian Wildfire Tuck flat.

The Draconian's Back Card features a Borderless optical illusion design formed from Dragon Scales. The Face Cards feature random fire / crackle fissures of Green over a full-bleed Black background. The fissures are also incorporated into the designs of the PIPs, Courts, Ace heros and Jokers. The Classic Courts are flanked with the Dragon scales spiral-shaped designs. In the early 1500s Leonardo Da Vinci illustrated "La Divina" (The Divine Proportion) a book written by mathematician Luca Pacioli that described a mathematical theory called "The Golden Ratio" which was used in Renaissance paintings and sculptures to achieve balance and beauty.
