The 'Wheel of the Year', the relatively modern amalgamation of the seasonal festivals of the Celtic, Anglo-Saxon and Norse peoples, features eight different festivals taking place roughly twice every season, most importantly during the solstices and the mid-points between them.

Lughnasadh (pronounced 'LOO-nuh-suhd') was a festival of particular importance to the Celts but overwhelmingly for those in Ireland where it effectively celebrates the founding of the country, and it is still celebrated in many forms today. It takes place around the time of the grain harvest, grain being a staple food for the Celtic people, and therefore coincides with the height of summer.

Between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice is where Beltane is celebrated, the beginning of the sun's final waxing cycle towards its highest point in late June. With crops and plants ripening and nature being fully awake, Beltaine was celebrated - and is still celebrated today throughout parts of Ireland and the rest of the world - as a festival of fertility, creative energy and fruitfulness.

Bohemia is the second deck in Uusi\\\'s eventual six deck series. The artwork for Bohemia was inspired by the unlikely pairing of 17th-century Baroque style with contemporary, urban street art. Each have a flair for drama, tension and grandeur that when mixed together create one lush, combustible style! All imagery in the deck is taken from entirely hand-painted, gouache illustrations. Every single card, right down to the pips and indices is painted in varying shades of luminous blue for the dark suits of Spades and Clubs and lushly romantic red for the light suits of Hearts and Diamonds.
