The Danegeld (Danish tax/Dane tribute) was a tax raised to pay tribute to the Viking raiders to save a land from being ravaged. It was called the geld or gafol in eleventh-century sources. It was characteristic of royal policy in both England and Francia during the ninth through eleventh centuries, collected both as tributary, to buy off the attackers, and as stipendiary, to pay the defensive forces. Inferno Acheronte is a novelty created specifically for this project: a double tuck case, that opens like a book and holds respectively, Inferno Dite and Inferno Cocito, The tuck case will be manufactured in Italy by Archivio Tipografico, numbered (250 copies) and signed by the Author: Stefano Protino. Both decks inside are limited edition versions. Dante, following ancient myths, states in the “Divina Commedia” that all of the rivers and waters in hell stem from the tears of an old man’s statue in Greece. Inside the “open book” you’ll find the words used by Dante Alighieri to describe the city of Dis (Dite) and the lake of Cocyto (Cocito).

This was a KickStarter funded deck with £12,081 (apx $18,800 USD) pledged from 793 backers and was funded on January 31, 2015.  It features a dark witchcraft theme geared to macabre & horror elements. The Coven Playing card deck features an all female cast of court cards. The kings and Jacks wear masks while the queens reveal their faces. It also keeps some traditions like the one eyed jacks and the suicide kings. The tuck box features inside printing of ravens that appear as if they are trying to escape the box.  The deck was printed by Expert Playing Card Company.

Per update from producer Kirk, the final print run was 1800 and the only uncut sheet is the test print he received.

Created specifically for backers of the original Asylum deck project.  Only 200 copies were printed and distributed to these backers from the project sponsored by Ed Nash which fell through and did not deliver (until years later after subsequent lawsuit).  The artist, Roman Kotiv, and NoirArts later recreated the deck and fullfiled to those backers on their own. They were hand wrapped into newspaper manually by workers and included a real red fingerprint on the back.

This special edition of the Masquerade playing cards has an exclusive printed tuck and is limited to 200 decks available within the Kickstarter campaign. The full run of this tuck was 1000. 800 Decks are being reserved for the JDRF-Central PA Chapter, a prestigious Gala that benefits individuals with Type-1 Diabetes. The event is being held in Hershey, PA on April 14th, 2018. NOTE: The remaining 200 decks are all that will be available! Once they're gone...they're gone! The deck was designed to emulate the era of the 1920s and give you a sense of speakeasies and card cheats. We didn't design this deck to keep up with modern trends, they were designed over a year as a sheer labour of love. Straying away from the generic look of modern day playing cards, we wanted you to instantly be taken back to an era of mobs and dolls, to the speak-easy, smokey bars of 1920's America.

The Sisterhood of Blood is a custom designed deck of poker sized playing cards, printed by The Expert Playing Card Company (EPCC). The theme of this deck is based on London vampires from the Victorian era. As with my previous project, The Coven, this deck also features an all female cast of court cards. Each of them have a different story to tell, but together they become The Sisterhood of Blood. Features of the deck include: 12 custom all female court cards All of the vampires are named and all have backstories 4 custom designed Aces 2 facing Jokers with the Raven created out of blood 1 double backer Custom Tuck-box with printing on the inside Custom seal (to be voted for by the backers) Printed by EPCC on their classic finish stock (same as The Coven) The Faces: Each of the vampires have names and backstories that help to bring these beautiful monsters alive. Along side this, each of the groups follow a theme, the Jacks have just fed, the Queens revel in their malice and the Kings immortality is coming to a close. The Aces are all larger and custom designed. The tweaked pips follow a standard position but are slightly smaller and the layout is condensed compared to a standard deck of cards. Even though this is a custom deck I have tried to maintain all the standard features of a normal deck of cards, as I want this deck to be usable and easy to read. These features also include the hidden ones such as the one eyed Jacks and the suicide King.

Limited to only 72 sets, we are pleased to present an exclusive Nightmare Before Christmas Edition of Fulton's October playing cards. First released back in 2013 and then again in 2014. Fulton's October playing cards return in an all-new way. Designed by Brad Fulton with original illustrations by Steven Noble.
