ABOUT THIS DECK

The concept of starry sky card derives from my fascination with night sky and persistence in drawing starry sky. As a professional painter, I particularly loved painting the scenes under night sky in the past few years. Because I know the rough direction of the Milky Way and based on my knowledge about photography, I placed the camera lens towards a fixed position for the purpose of taking a long-exposure photo.

After getting a splendid picture, I integrated it into my painting of nature and then get this series of work. I guarantee that every picture is different; but you can find some associations and clues among different pictures. For example, in one picture, there is a mountain suspending in the sky; while you can find the close shot of this mountain in another picture.

A large number of friends around me engage in one cause for the purpose of persisting in doing something. However, recording night sky is really the thing I am fond of. Whenever I stare at the starry sky, I put all annoyances behind me but just long for the beautiful future. I hope that every friend who sees my card can know my mood when I painted the picture. Every card represents a story.
