In 2013, Lu Chen searched for a deck that would "obey his every command." He collaborated with Si Scott, the designer of Dan and Dave's Smoke & Mirror Playing Cards series, who drew a silent chameleon with a dip pen. That chameleon became the original SPAR Playing Cards, a sharp tool for magic. At first, it was only 1000 decks printed by USPCC for Lu Chen's personal use. For the 10th Anniversary, Lu Chen released the second iteration of SPAR Playing Cards with TCC Playing Cards - Red & Blue in Standard Set; Black & White in Leather Box; Gold, Silver, & Copper in autographed Wooden Box. And now, thirteen years later, Lu Chen teamed up with designer LunZi of Smooth Writing to bring the chameleon vividly back to life, and this is a much more personal one. SPAR 52 Green

This finely crafted wooden collector box features a piano lacquer finish paired with a glossy gold-flake green base. The top panel is decorated with large-area embedded gold stamping, complete with a custom lock and polished gold hardware. The full set includes a velvet storage pouch and gold-stamped envelope cards, adding a ceremonial collectible feel while preserving the original spirit of pure magic. The top lid of the box preserves Lu Chen's autograph along with the hand-numbering as well as the date it was signed, making every wooden box is individually unique! This luxurious designed deck is the green color variant of the duo decks stored inside. The deck comes with a numbered long seal, and the numbering matches with the other deck and the box serial number.

The tuck box combines pearlescent paper with embossing and gold foil, while the playing cards use double-sided cold foil printing that shimmers dynamically under light. The back features a special magical effect - riffling the cards in order and you witness a spectacular magic performance: a mannequin constructed part by part before it magically transforms into a magician. The pips are adorned with decorative swirls as well. The unicycle-riding Joker carries a painting of the chameleon, with a small one dangles at the corner by its tongue.
