A special edition of the very first Stockholm17 deck funded on Kickstarter in 2014. The original Requiem have long since been out of print and the black edition will not be reprinted to honour the promise with kickstarter backers in 2014. As the Regular Requiem tells the chronicles of a lost love, Black Requiem casts a counterspell using Magick sigils on those cards depicting the feeling (aces and court cards). Magick sigils are a way to focus on a will or goal, no black magic or satanism involved. For more details please visit Stockholm17.com. All court cards and aces have a magick sigil overprinted with cold foil application in the centre (gold for hearts and diamonds, silver for clubs and spades). All number cards have "healed" pips; to differentiate from first version of Requiem Playing Cards. Printed by Cartamundi in Belgium, with gold foil on the backs and gold and silver foil on the faces. The luxury tuck box was printed by Boschiero & Newton in Italy. with white and black foil, embossing, and a deep shiny red interior. Each deck includes the 17 of diamonds gaff card and a 56th card detailing the magick sigils meaning.
