SNP Ausprint Pty Ltd was formerly part of Singapore National Printers (SNP). The company had several changes of name, which were printed on the joker cards more→ Brand names include ‘Ausgold’, ‘Unicorn’, ‘Players Choice’ and numerous decks for casinos. They printed a few special decks/jokers including Dewar’s, the Karen Curran Enchanted Journey, Holden, Toyota, Versace, Triple M and Avon Graphics. The company went into receivership in April 2008. In earlier times it was possible to get ‘casino used’ cards direct from the casinos themselves, with either a hole drilled or corner cut, but recently they have stopped doing this. Some have cards printed with the casino advertisement on the back that you can buy at their souvenir shops, but they’re not used in the actual gaming rooms.
